Currently designing enterprise commerce products

Product designer crafting interfaces that feel inevitable.

I'm Jacob Schott - six years of professional product design, from zero-to-one apps to enterprise commerce platforms. I believe good design is both a process and a relationship.

DaggerSmart

Live productDesigned & built solo

A digital companion for Daggerheart, the tabletop RPG from Darrington Press. DaggerSmart gives players character management, session tracking and homebrew creation; all designed to stay out of the way of the story at the table.

I owned the entire product: research with real play groups, information architecture, visual system, and the shipped front-end. It's the clearest picture of how I think end to end.

About

Six years of turning ambiguity into interfaces.

I'm a product designer who likes the whole problem; the specs call at 9, the component audit at noon, the design jam at 4. By day I design enterprise commerce tools used by real teams at major brands; nights and weekends, I ship my own products like DaggerSmart.

The foundation of my work is a belief that good design is both a process and a relationship. I work to understand the problem, the people, and the business before ever touching the canvas!

Product strategy

Framing the problem before touching the canvas; jobs, flows, and the metric that matters.

Design systems

Tokens and components that scale past the first screen and the first designer.

Prototyping

High-fidelity, testable prototypes that answer questions instead of decorating decks.

Craft & polish

Type, spacing, and motion tuned until the interface feels quiet and confident.
